Announcement of the Atelier Shimura Special Exhibition: “Colors of Summer—Shimura Indigo and Ryukyu Indigo”

Thank you very much for your continued support of the Ryukyu Indigo Labo.

We are pleased to announce the Atelier Shimura Special Exhibition, “Colors of Summer: Shimura Indigo and Ryukyu Indigo.”

The exhibition, titled “Summer Colors: Shimura Indigo and Ryukyu Indigo,” will feature the theme of “Ryukyu Indigo and Yaeyama Indigo,” showcasing and selling distinctive works and products (including kimonos, obi sashes, accessories, and Western-style clothing) from each brand.

For this event, we will be displaying Ryukyu indigo pieces made using the sedimentation method, as well as dresses dyed with LEQUIO’s Ryukyu indigo—perfect for staying cool during the summer. We look forward to seeing you there. Please do come and visit us.
