“We explore the Blue.”

The Ryukyu Indigo Research Institute is pleased to announce its first solo exhibition,
“We explore the Blue.”

It has been five years since we established our indigo dyeing workshop in Okinawa.

We handle every step of the process—from cultivating Ryukyu indigo to processing it into dye and dyeing the fabric—entirely in Okinawa.

We hope this exhibition will allow you to experience the deep, beautiful indigo hues of Okinawa that emerge from this process.
